What is Cloocroo?

The name Cloocroo started officially in Laguna Beach in 2011, but has a celebrated past that began in Old Town Alexandria in Washington, DC. In 2000 it was simple enough - 5 teams of 5 people each had a shotgun start to a different bar and had to identify a cloo. After the team identifies the cloo then they proceed to the other bars in the game to do the same thing. Objective? The team that identifies all of the cloo’s first wins! What’s the big deal? Well that very simple concept ended up being one of the best times I ever had in my life. 

 I waited 6 years to get a graphic design degree to implement ideas on how to improve the experience in a creative way. The very first event debuted in Portland, Oregon in 2006 with 8 teams competing against each other. After several events the concept got better and better, and we realized that this could be enjoyed anywhere. As of today it has been an instrument to raise money for charities, enjoyed as a private party, or used for team building events for companies. The game can be designed to be played anywhere in the world!
